use a program such as LimeWire? Many times I wish to check whether a particular file is available on the Gnutella network (After having looked for it using Google and for its Torrent files). But to do this I have to launch the bulky and slow LimeWire program. Does there exist any search engine which allows searching the Gnutella network straight from the Web interface, something akin to Google?
Based on the first answer by "donktg", I would like to add that I'm aware that Gnutella network is based on the files present on computers of those connected to the network (unlike the Web which is crawled by 'bots' of search engines). However, it's definitely possible to create a service which has a Gnutella-supporting program running at its back-end, and serves results based on results returned from the back-end program.
My question isn't about whether or not this is possible (it definitely is possible), but whether such a service already exists?
