IS IT POSSIBLE TO RIDE 80 MILES ON A BIKE IN ONE DAY?

I am planning on riding my bike with 2 buddis. It is going to be called the Tour de SoFla. haha, we want to ride 80 miles in total, we expect to leave at 6AM and get back around 8PM,,, we plan on going a steady pace most of the way, with sudden bursts of speed every 30 minutes or so for 10 minutes each. Is it possible??? how far do the "tour de France" guys go in one day?
 
this should be a four to five hour ride. pro tour riders average about 120 miles per day, not figuring in the short TTs in 5-6 hours. so yes, this is easily attainable, especially if you plan on taking that long to ride it

definitely. at the age of 12 i biked 23 km in the city in 2.5 hours. so im pretty sure u can too
