im trying to do the impossible. im trying to learn college level biology in a week. i will be taking molecular and ecological biology in the fall. almost all my peers have taken AP biology in high school. i however have not. therefore it is imperative that i master biology before school starts. otherwise i will be at a severe disadvantage. i have biology textbooks and biology lecture videos. maybe if i spend like 16 hours per day for 7 days, i ll be able to accomplish this feat. the problem is that i fall asleep after 10 pgs, and sometimes im unable to grasp the concepts when i do this. any advice? thanks so muich for your time =]

Studies have shown that people learn better if they study in short spurts and then do something to ease their minds, like watch a little TV or read a book or eat a snack. 16 hours a day of studying probably won't do you much good.

I don't think you can do it. Not because you're not smart or because you don't want to, but because college level biology takes a full semester to teach and, even then, it's not an easy thing to master.

Why are you taking higher level biology classes before taking the basic one? Don't they require you to have bio as a pre-requisite for these? Were I you, I would drop one of these two classes and take regular biology this coming semester so you're fully prepared.
