Is it possible to jailbreak iPhone 3G running OS 3.1.3 jailbroken?

I accidently upgraded to OS 3.1.3 and the newest baseband. 10 POINTS FOR ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME LOL! I'm desperate! If it makes any difference this is a ROGERS locked iPhone 3G with bootloader 6.04 and I want to use it with TELUS MOBILITY.
 
I have been wondering the same thing.
There is a way to do this but you must restore your iPhone and I'm not sure if you can restore your information from a backup (I have asked if you could restore from backup after you have restored with the custom IPSW. If you want to take chances and see if you can restore from a backup after you have restored with the custom IPSW, go right ahead, LOL. If you are able to restore from a backup and still have your jailbreak. PLEASE LET ME KNOW !!!!!! LOL. Like I said, I have been wondering if you can do this or not. (the information below I KNOW you can do)

Now towards what you were really asking. There is a program you can download to your computer. It is called Sn0wbreeze. it creates a custom IPSW which you must then put your iPhone into DFU mode and custom restore your iPhone with the IPSW that it created based on the iPhone model you have (2G, 3G, 3G S)

You need to unlock for that. And no, its not currently possible. The idiotic moron hackers actually have a method to do it, but get this, there holding it because they wanna save it for the iPhone 4G! For all we know, there may never be an iPhone 4G! So there holding a perfectly good exploit for nothing. Damn pieces of crap.
