My hair is basically 80% natural right now. I had my roots relaxed 4 months ago. I do not want to relax my whole head. I want to keep my hair curly. However, I would be willing to relax the ROOTS again. My purpose for keeping it curly for microbraids is to aquire growth. Is it possible to have microbraids done to kinky curly hair? Are there products or techniques I can use to make it easier for my friend to microbraid my hair without having to use a relaxer? Would it work if she simply flat ironed my hair before braiding it?
