Is it possible to have had sex 8 months ago but just find out that your having an

ectopic pregnancy now? It doesn't make any since to me. I had to go to the emergency room due to pain in my lower abdomen on the left side and I found out first of all I was pregnant. But I have only been sexually active once in my life and that was 8 months ago. Does this make any since and is this possible?
 
Well, it has happened before. A woman has severe cramps, can't take it anymore, and then drives herself to the emergency room... then the doctors tell her that she has been pregnant and is now in labor.

It's extremely ridiculous. How does a woman not know that for the past nine months, she's been pregnant??

Unless you're due next month, it's not possible.
 
Where was the ectopic pregnancy and how far along did they say you were? If the pregnancy was in your fallopian tube (most ectopic pregnancies occur here) then you would never have made it to 8 months. If however the pregnancy was elsewhere in your abdomen then you could carry the baby to term, but ectopic pregnancies in the abdomen are very rare. If they said you were less than 8 months then something must have happened that you don't remember right now. Maybe you had sex and forgot about it? Is it possible that they didn't say it was ectopic but they said something else? Did they do a D&C? Give us more details to help you better.
 
Absolutely not possible.

Not only would you have found out about the ectopic pregnancy MUCH early, if it had grown to be eight months, you would have ruptured your tubes and been in a lot worse shape...

Plus, after eight months, your baby would be almost fully formed and you would be showing!!!
 
No. Not possible to have an ectopic last past 12 weeks. I know for a fact as both my mother and I have had an ectopic. It makes no sense, and I wonder if you docs really know what's goin on.
 
I happens rarely but it does happen. My friend went tanning and the girl in the booth right before her had gotten her boyfriend's sperm on her and it wiped on the booth and now my friend's pregnant by the guy she never even saw. It happens with public restrooms too. It does happen but rarely
 
i guess it could be possible that the embryo could have died while in the falopian tube, but taking 8 months to figure that out... would be weird. you need to talk to your Dr more about this.
 
no. spirm can only live in the reproductive tract for 3 days.
that is impossible. you must've had sex, or some kind of sexual contact since then.
 
oH yeah think bout it...it only takes one time for you to do it and get pregnant.If thats the only time you been sexually yeah pain signs are correct it could be you bout 8months pregnant and not showing depends on where the baby at in your body.
