Is it possible to get this back on?

yes , you could plastiweld the part back on, but you would most likely need to reinforce it from the back and the shear line would be visible. that part would also be prone to break again. Ive welded parts back together then reinforced the back with two part liquid plastic, it is pretty much the same thing as the ABS plastic bumper repair kit, if you do use this stuff make sure the surface that you are aplying it to has been thoroughly roughed up as it tends to peel when applied to non porous surfaces.

Agreed - most likely quicker & easier in the long run to get a new one.

Let me guess - you broke something off the fairing stay as well.

Once you plastiweld it, it will not be as strong as new, but since it is supported by the headlight assembly beneath, it will not break again. Actually it is almost the best place for a break, you could even almost attach it without welding, as the mirror would hold the broken part of the cone, and the rest would be held by the lower fairing...

This happens all the time. My local shop has a guy that plasti-welds and re-paints them so they look like new. You have to look real close at the underside to even be able to tell.

Check your local shop for a guy or your local motorcycle forum/race forum will know of someone who can repair that. It sucks, but it's really not all that bad. The fortunate thing (if you can call it that) is when they break, its a clean break so they're really easy to repair.
