Is it possible to flash a Telus phone (LG VX8800) to Cricket?

I am new, so sorry if its been answered before, but I didn't want to get that phone if I couldn't bring it over to Cricket. I am new to this but a very quick learner so any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
Ok I have read through some posts and I have the LG Download program, I have the USB drivers, but before I proceed further I wanted to know the next steps I should take. Can I use the Verizon dll's for this phone (telus) can I fully flash it to Verizon and then change the settings for cricket? Please any help would be appreciated. I pick up everything pretty quickly so I won't be lost. Just being cautious before I proceed. Thanks
 
I would think that you can. But ive had bad experiences flashing firmwares on few LG phones such as Vx9900, Vx8500, and Vx8550s sooo to sum it up careful telus lg to verizon lg sounRAB like a bad idea to me "if" you can avoid it, but if there was no other way to get wap n mms i would say screw it n do it n take the garable :)
*one advice do not use the upgrade function on lg download, just use the normal bin download
