...for the deactivated one...? until the contract of that one ends so you can terminate it?
Ok...so I really wanted the iPhone so I saved up my money to pay for it, not being aware that smartphone plans costed SO much extra. Plus, Verizon charges you if you go over their 2gb limit per month. I know if you used your own wifi they wouldn't charge you because then you wouldn't be using their service, you'd be using yours. But my brother has some behavioral problems. He's 20 years old and still lives with us, he dropped out of highschool and is just a sad lazy disrespectful dumbass. Since he doesn't really have anything in his life to control, he feels the need to control something, therefore I, nor my mother knows our own wifi password. Everytime I find the password out, he changes it. My father is in prison, hence there is a lack of discipline and he will not listen to anybody but my uncles. But the problem is as soon as they get him to tell me, he will just change it when they leave and keep doing it over and over again.
None of the phone lines on our account have an upgrade, I used the only one for the iPhone. I regret this decision.
I want to know if its possible to deactivate the iPhone until that lines contract is up so we can terminate it (avoiding the early termination fee of $375), assuming that you can deactivate it and not have to pay for it at all and then add another phone line so I can get a new basic phone that is free with a much cheaper plan.
The line that the iPhone is on contract ends next year in September I believe. So I'm hoping that it will stay deactivated without having my mother have to pay anything for the iPhone.
Then after I get the other phone, I will just get the iPod touch, then we won't have to deal with all this data package phone plan crap and I will figure out the wifi thing.
I highly doubt what I'm thinking will work, but it's worth a shot. I just really don't want to cause my mother any more grief of paying Verizon's bullcrap.
And also, please don't call me irresponsible or dumb by not finding out it costed this much before I got it, because I already know ok? Just answer the question...
Ok, so how much would it be to pay for it while its deactivated?
