Is it possible to cure brain tumor in just a month?

I have a friend who alleged to be having brain tumor and recovering. However, he only went through one chemotherapy session and claimed to have the tumor totally eradicated. The most suspicious thing is that from diagnosis to recovery, it took only 1 month. Is it possible that he is lying or can cancer really be cured in just 1 month with 1 chemotherapy session.
 
I would think the only way that was possible is if the tumor was REALLY small and they caught it really early.. meaning the tumor was no bigger than the size of a pea.
