This might sounds crazy but I have a 2009 YAMAHA 250cc v-star and I love the bike but the small engine is not enough anymore and the thing is that I pay $4500 a year ago and the bike is worth $3000 now and the trade in value is around $2500 so traded in or sell it sounds like a bad idea to me so I guess the question is. Is it possible to put a 500cc motor in that kind of bike? and if so would I have to change the transmission too? and if is not too much to ask what would the price of those motors is around?. thank you in advance I would really appreciate your help.
