Is it possible to by-pass the A/C Pully with the Surpintine belt on my 1992 Chevy...

...Blazer? The bearing on the A/C pump has seized twice now , and only 20 km of use in between changes. So I am wondering if there is a way to eliminate the use of the A/C pully.
