Is it possible to build a wind powered 12 volt ,?

Electrical system using a automobile alternator, battery and other salvaged parts from a wrecked car? Any information or web sites appreciated.
I intend to use a wind mill as a prime mover for this system.
 
Not being facious...But, What would be the purpose...To chareg a 12 voly battery...You can get a 12 volt battery charger at Harbor Tool for about $20.00...
