is it possible to become immune to certain foods after cooking them completely...

...from scratch? i have noticed that food is tASty...and if you start cooking from scratch, the taste is very dull and almost invisible even if cooked with quality ingredients.
example: if you make butter you wont like it, but only other people will like your butter?
so, you make butter the exact same way as your "friend" but dont know how they made it, would the 2 different, yet exact "same" butters taste different???!
 
All of your senses experience, to some extent, the phenomenon of habituation, aka: "getting used to it". It's particularly noticeable with smell. A place may smell very bad or good. but after just a few minutes, you don't notice it anymore. There is a very basic neurological reason for that, to do with how the synapses work. The same happens with taste.

That, and the fact that some foods have more distinct flavors than others, accounts for what you are noticing.
