Is it possible to be a sex addict, if you've never had sex before?

i'm a guy,18, and still a virgin. but i used to be addicted to masturbation, and the feeling of reaching orgasm. i've calmed down a bit. and i know it's normal to masturbate, but i think i was addicted to it. for a period of time in my life. and i want to know if that's possible, and if it's still considered sexual addiction, should i seek help?
