Is it possible to be a Liberal and a Catholic and follow the doctrine of the RCC?

Unless its doctrine to force your views on others, then its really got nothing to do with it at all. Long as you are living in accordance with the rules then thats all you need to say that you are living in accordance with the rules.

Making others follow the rules is a seperate issue.
