This question gets asked pretty much every day. NO is the answer.
Highly unlikely. Pontiac was discontinued mostly because General Motors was competing against itself. Pontiac was too similar to the Chevrolet line of cars.
For General Motors to allow someone else to build Pontiac they would also need to allow them to build many of their components like their engines, transmissions, electronics, etc. Then they would be back in the same old situation of competing against itself.
It would be too expensive for a company to engineer their own engines, transmissions, and electronics then start from scratch.
I miss Pontiac also. Unfortunately this make is gone forever.
There were some nice models that are gone for good.
The Solstice
The GTO. Would be nice if GM would bring back the Chevelle SS using this platform. It would not take much more than some sheet metal changes to build this car and build it on the ZETA platform.
