Alright I'm 16, turning 17 in January.
I currently attend high school, and I'm a Junior and doing great at the moment.
and I'm not dropping out or anything.
Problem goes here.. and I'm very curious about the situation I'm in.
In the beginning of my high school years, My freshmen year especially..
I goofed off and I failed a lot of classes. I passed a few.. but I never realized how education was important.
Now I'm a Junior, not trying to fail any classes.. Passing all of them at the moment.
I'm even taking extra classes before school to catch up up with my credits.
But even so.. I don't think I'll be able to graduate on time maybe..
by a class or two..
So I might have to an extra year.. but I hope it won't affect me.. or will it?
Though what I'm really trying to ask is.. I noticed that scholarships are handed out to students who have high GPA's and so they'll be able to go to a university after high school and what not.. and I don't always get straight A's. but passing grades though
I plan to graduate from high school of course.
and
I want to go to college and MAYBE a university.. but the thing is I don't money for it.
For a community college, I heard classes can be hundreds and hundreds of dollars just for a class.
My Father used to work in real estate.. he made great money.. up to like $36,000 in one month!
But you know how the economy is right now.. he lost his job and he barely makes enough money to pay all of the bills now so he really can't afford to give me hundreds of dollars for college. and my mom doesn't make that much neither
and I really can't get a job that easy cause you know how the economy is.. so it's hard, but I'ma try hard to get one soon.
How will I pay for my tuition's though?
I always wanted to get a job in business administration. with businesses and stuff.
Will I still be able to get the opportunity to achieve that as a career?
I just want to make decent money and live a good life. have a wife, family and kids some day and not worry about being short on money and what not.
I don't think I'll be able to get to what I want because of how I did bad as a freshman in high school. and really short on money. and will colleges accept me?
Will I still be able to live a good life still? I need your honest opinion.. please..
thank you..
