...japan/wherever in Asian? I want to make mangas (then have my mangas become animes maybe) when I get older but is it possible for someone out of Asian to get their manga published and become popular?

Kayla, when you're a high school junior or senior, i'd begin interning at a company like Marvel [not manga, but a good start for the career you want] or Tokyopop, or whatever company is near you or in your state. If those arent near you, you can try for an internship at comic-con, and if that isnt near you either, try for an internship at a video game or animation company [world of warcraft, neopets or viacom, nelvana [canada animation], nickelodeon or cartoon network, playstation, whatever], and if that fails, try volunteering or interning at an animecon and ask many questions and write down answers. Then you move your way up from there. In college, you want to major in illustration then intern for bigger jobs involving art for games or whatever. Take many art classes too. It doesnt .atter if its watercolour for drawing landscapes or realistic portraits. Many great anime artists can do realism and use it in their manga art [kindgom hearts as example]. Well, thats called semi realism.
