...news? I recently had been having cramping for about 2 weeks prior to my period time. About 4 days before my period, my uncle passed away very unexpectedly. I took the news very hard, I almost fainted when my dad told me. At that instant I felt my period. Is this possible? To get your period because of some shocking news like this? Has this ever happened to anyone?

It hasn't happened to me, but I know periods can tend to act up when you feel very stressed. Sorry about your uncle, :(.

No, stress actually delays a period, but four days early isn't early and is just a regular cycle. No woman's cycle is perfect especially at younger ages, so getting it four day early is nothing unusual.
