...just cichlids who get it? ive never really hear of a puffer fish getting it. ive only heard of cichlids, mainly oscars, but today i noticed my puffer has a spot on his head about 1/4 to 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser. its kind of white-ish.... he is the only one in the tank other than a sucker fish.... which he had been picking on and is now separated from.... could it be that he just hurt himself? once in a while, he will freak out and swim around franticly occasionally bumping his head on the filter tube or something.... could it just be a wound? i dont want to put un-nessary chemichles in my tank if i dont have to.... should i just wait it out for a little bit to see if it gets any better?
oh btw, when i noticed he had the little spot on his head(which is definately not ich), i also noticed he had a thin little line that looked like it could be a scratch. is that a symptom of hole in the head? should i be worried? he looks and acts healthy except for the little spot and the scratch... or whatever it is
