is it possible for a pregnancy test to be negative when you are pregnant?

because i had sex with my boyfriend a month ago and the condom broke & this month i haven't come on my period it was due 2weeks ago & i went to a clinic today 4 a pregnancy test and it came out negative,

ANY IDEAS???

not on the pill or never have been.

periods are regular ish maybe a few days late but never like this.

yes it's possible. i was three weeks late all neg tests...finally got a pos like the last week of the month
