my son's pre-school is havin a summer camp, for a month an i was thinking of sending him, instead of him goin to daycare an just doin nothin and watchin TV all day, the activities are like swimming, water sports, art, field trips etc, do u think he's too young, the teachers of the school he attends are the camp co-ordinators so i feel safe sending him , wat do u all think
it's not over night it's 8am-4pm monday to friday

Is it a daycamp or an overnight camp? I think if your son's teachers are the coordinators and it's a day camp, it would be fine. It would be like a really neat daycare center to him. If it's an overnight thing for a month, I think he's definitely too young.

It sounds like a good idea. He'll probably have fun and he'll learn alot. Things like this are good, especially for a 4 year old. But if its an overnight camp I wouldn't recommend it because he'll probably miss you and a month is too long to stay away from home (My 8 year old still has trouble going to summer camp).

i think 4 years old is too young.. water is very dangerous and it would scare me silly and one month? is it an overnight thing cause i just dont think i could handle that. i dont know ive seen a kid drown so i am just very overprotective when it comes to water and anyone adult or child... but if its not thier child then i just dont think they will watch them as closely as they need to be watched in a pool or lake. it only take a few seconds ya know.

Yeah, I think it's fine, especially since it is run by his pre-school, which you already know and trust. Also, all of the kids will be around his age and it sounds really fun for him.
