I cut the tip of my thumb pretty badly with a knife, though not badly enough to need stitches but just barely. The pain was awful, so I crushed some ibuprofen and excedrin mixed with a bit of water and rubbed it into the cut then put on a little extra with a bandaid. Is that ok?
First off, I put on neosporin earlier so it won't get infected. Secondly, it's been almost an hour so it's not really bleeding anymore which means that the blood won't push it out. The cut is open so it should be going straight into the blood stream. I didn't just eat it because I know my pain levels and what medicine will do and it would take a significant amount of pain reliever for this.
