Is it Ok to put two goldfish in a tropical fish tank for winter?

I`m only going to have the tempreture at 24 c.
I don`t want them to grow to big because I don`t want them to eat my guppies!
Theyr`e a bit smaller than the largest guppy now!
My Ram fish are fine with them!
So is It ok just for winter!
