You can put him in front of the window for a little while. It won't hurt him. In fact, I've read to put them in front of windows because babies like looking out the window and seeing something new.

As long as you aren't putting him there for more than a hour at a time then I am sure he will be fine =)
It's good for babies to look outside and also be outside!
I was wondering if it was ok if I put the baby in his swing at put him in front of the big sliding glass door to look outside...will it hurt his eyes (it's a cloudy day) if he looks at the sky too long? I'm worried about the UV rays. Am I worrying too much....LOL....

That is where we keep our sons swing - he is 8 weeks old. he loves to look out the glass. the sun doesn't shine directly in it - he just gets the light and warmth from it. If you're worried about the suns rays hurting his little eyes - get some cheap cling-on tint and put on the glass door - it helps a lot with heat and light.
It's fine. When my son was a newborn he had jaundice and I would put his bouncy seat in front of my big window and let him sit there for about an hour at a time. The sunlight is good for them.

I don't think it would hurt him as long as it's a cloudy day and he isn't there very long. Even on a cloudy day something like 80% of UV rays get through, so if it's only once in a while for 15-20 minutes I don't see the harm.
