I got engaged at christmas and we have been telling our families ourselves that we're engaged. We've finally told everyone and had agreed that we wanted to put one in about 3 weeks ago, then i got appendicitis and was in hospital so i couldn't sign to have one put in. I was just wondering if its still acceptable to announce it in the paper?
Is it ok to put an engagement notice in the paper after being engaged nearly 2 months?
