Is it OK to leave a refrigerator outdoors (enclosed and unplugged) during a

Minnesota winter? I have a refrigerator/freezer on my boat and every year after pulling the boat out of the water and winterizing it, I have been pulling the fridge out of the boat and lugging it down into my basement. But I'm wondering if I'm going to all this trouble for nothing. Will it hurt the refrigerator if I just leave it enclosed in the boat over the winter? It will oten stay below zero for weeks at a time during the winter here. Sometimes it even gets to 20 below.
