Is it ok to have the air conditioning on in the car, and set the temperature dial to

warm? Im only asking because you only ever get the air conditioning to blow cold air. My car (Focus) is able to have the air conditioning turned on and then move the dial to blow hot air. I dont know if its just me but it seems hotter...

Is this bad for it? Is it safe to do? It would be better in winter for demisting the car!
