is it ok to have sex 2 weeks after giving birth??? when can i go back on the pill?

me and my partner have started to have sex again, even though i only give birth 2 weeks ago, we are using protection and i feel fine!
When can i go back on the pill???
I didn't need stitches, and i feel fine to have sex! its dosen't hurt and if it did i wouldn't be having it!!!
If your not going to give decent answers the don't bother please, i know am ment to wait 6 weeks till i see the doctor but me and my partner just love and can't keep are hands off each other....
 
Whoa - you should follow your doctor's advice!!!!! Everything in the area of your reproductive organs need time to heal - at least 6 weeks or you could get an infection or tear stitches. You should be talking to your doctor, not strangers on the internet - you could be endangering yourself.
 
no its not ok your suppose to wait atleast 6 weeks even if it doesnt hurt (wich i cant believe) you`l get an infection your not healed were the placenta detached from the womb.

you asked a question and i answered no it is not ok till after 6 weeks wether you feel fine or not you can still get an infection!
 
You have to have a period to go back on the pill - if you're breastfeeding that could take months and the pill isn't recommended for breastfeeding mothers anyway.

You're supposed to wait at least 6 weeks after birth for sex. Follow your doctor's advice or you could end up with a nasty infection or torn stitches.
 
If you had to have stitches, it's not adivisable for sex until they are removed. I believe it's six weeks wait for the pill.
