I just got my nose pierced two weeks ago and I'm going out on a boat on a river to go tubing friday. I am concerned that if I go tubing I might accidentally rip out my nose ring stud. And I'm also worried about the bacteria from the water infecting my nose. But, I thought if I taped up my nose well so it wouldn't get ripped out and that if I washed it with water and antibacterial soap that it would be ok.
Is this too much of a risk?
If I protect it and clean it well, will I be ok if I go tubing?
