I have this friend I've had a crush on for months. I've been wanting to ask her out, but when we hang out there's always someone else there. And at school, there are always other people around her. And I don't want to ask her at school "Hey, can I talk to you?" because that'd foreshadow it too much.
Is it ok that I ask her out over Facebook chat? I'm well aware that this is impersonal, but I can't get her alone for face-to-face time.
I do have her number, I've been friends with her for awhile. But she's told me she hates calls, she prefers texting. So it was between text or facebook in my opinion.
