Is it ok not to have bridesmaids/groomsman or dancing at reception?

I couldn't really afford to have a wedding party, but now I feel like there's this big empty space during the ceremony. I found such a pretty song that I'd like to walk down the isle to, but without anyone to walk before me, seems kind of stupid to play like 10 seconds of it. Not really sure what to do here. Someone suggested the parents should walk down the isle, my dad walk my mom down and then come back to get me while my fiances two sets of parents walk down. Is that weird? The only thing I don't really like about this is that no ones really going to be matching...his dad has but one brown, cowboy-looking suite, his step mom doesn't want to wear a dress, and then my parents are going more formal the way I prefer everyone to look. My fiance has gotten on my case about asking his parents to wear specific things because they don't have the money...so then I end up feeling guilty about it. Anyway, my dilemma number one.

Number two; does there have to be dancing at the reception? LIke the first dance, and the father-daughter dance and such? My fiance is not one who LIKES to dance, and I just don't really know HOW to dance...which makes me kind of want to avoid the awkward junior-high-first-time-i've-ever-danced-with-a-boy dance lol.
