the same for girls?
The girl is new in town, and as a favour to a friend he wanted to welcome her to the city. I am right now out of town. I just think going for lunch during the day or a tour of the city makes more sense than dinner. Anyway, he took her for dinner at his parent's place instead (!)
 
What would be the motive of this dinner? Sounds fishy. I'd say for the long lasting posterity of the relationship, it's a very bad idea...
