Is it ok for me to test this day?

I had my period the 10th of March I ovulated the 25th of March which is the same day I had unprotected sex. I'm suppose to start the 7th of April which is 13 DPO. I also have an OB/GYN appointment that day. Is this to early to test or will it be okay. I talked to some women who had a positive at 10 DPO but I know that pregnancy can be different for everyone. I also talked to another women and a RN who said that you can have symptoms and that she had 1-3 DPO if this is the case I have had the same cramping as the women who had symptoms 3 DPO. So would I be safe to test 13 DPO?
 
It it was to early you should test when you miss your period because you will most likely get a bfn. You can also but the early response and you can take that 5 days before your period is due
 
They should test you and say you do get a negative then just wait and see if your period is late if it is then take a at home test.
 
wow all our dates match, i am having lots of symptoms, i have been ttc, i have taken 4 tests but i am still showing negative, i know its early but what the heck, i have only been testing because of my symptoms! good luck..x
