Is it ok for me to keep th dog in a kennel in he garden during the day?

Myself and my wife work during the day leaving our 9 month lab puppy on his own. We keep him in the kitchen at the moment with a baby gate to keep him in. He is starting to chew the kitchen units and the Walls.

Should I put him outside in a kennel during the day and just in the kitchen on a night?
 
you want to keep him out in the yard during the day, and locked in the kitchen at night? What you should do is ask yourself this: Why do you even have a dog?!
 
I don't like kennels but I know in some situation people feel they need to use them. If you do put him outside he should be fine if the kennel is large enough, he has shade, water, food and etc.
