I work an evening job from 4 to midnight, so I usually eat breakfast and then eat a big lunch/dinner before work, and that's all. I have started going for walks right when I wake up in the morning around 9. Is this ok? That means I haven't eaten probably since about 2 the previous day; I don't take a dinner break and I don't eat when I get home at midnight. Am I hurting myself doing this? Am I burning more calories or fat by walking on such an empty stomach? All I'm doing is walking around the neighborhood; I eat breakfast before doing other exercise, like weight lifting.
