Is it o.k. to eat brown Salmon?

I bought some frozen salmon from Walmart and when I opened up the bag one of the salmons was brown but the rest were pink. Is it o.k. to eat this salmon, it was vacuumed sealed and was kept in my freezer than refrigerator.
 
The brown that you see is only the outside layer. If you slice through it you would find that is only a little thin part on the outside.

It is fine to eat. What you are seeing is a layer of fat that is normally just underneath the skin. Some fish have more of it, some have less. But it is normal and tastes the same as the rest of the fish - you won't notice the difference.
