Is it not ridiculous and a paradox that non vegetarians are all talking about mercy and kindness to animals?

The 'animal lovers' who aggressively spread the message of 'mercy and kindness to animals' are non vegetarians( the percentage will be more than 90%). God - by any name - has not classifised the animals that can be cruelly killed for eating and the others that have to be cared for like the cats and dogs. When all religions preach mercy, do they mean only mercy to the human beings and the animals they love which are not meant for eating? Whether these 'animal lovers' do not have any conscience when they eat the red meat and know that the live animals are thrown into boiling water to become their favourite dish? Whther they do not know that fish they eat choked to death when taken out of water? Show me one human being who will enjoy slow cutting of his own limbs as is done in hallal method? Animals are vehicles of Hindu God/desses . How can a person professing Hindu religion be a non vegetarian? Let these hypocritic 'animal lovers' become real lovers of all animals
