is it normal to top up radiator water on the side bottle on a honda

cb400(super four) freequently? I have noticed that i have to keep topping up my radiator water bottle on the side every now and then
is this normal?
have a honda cb400 super four and i dont ride much
 
it may be that when you ride it you like to really let it rip.
i had the same with my old rm125 it would drink the stuff but i raced that so.....
