I play DIII football at SUNY Maritime college and we reported for camp on the 13th and finished on the 28. The day before camp i benched 285 and I lifted today and couldnt put up 275. Ive never had this happen before
yeah this happened to me before. i lost a couple pounds during camp and i couldnt bench as much either but i got a lot faster. you have to sacrifice one of them speed or strength cause you wont be as fast if you lift a lot. i chose speed cause its better in the long run
