is it normal to have veins like this?

i have veins on my penis, and thats normal but there is a really big one that goes from the base to about halfway and it kind snakes around. when i have an erection it gets really big. my doctor cant see it when its like that so he cant tell if its normal or not. but it seems like its going to burst. im circumcised too so the skin over it is really tender. im just thinking that it would be so much blood loss if it got punctured somehow O.o

does any one else have veins like this
