Is it normal to hate all cultures, including your own?

I was given an assignment to write about my culture; my second choice is to write about a culture I wish to associate myself with.

I find both to be too difficult for me to accomplish. I hate my families cultural background and I hate all other human cultures as well.

What am I to do?
 
you have to respect the other culture and its your problem if u like the other cultures or if u hate the other cultures, also you dont have to tell any one that u hate his culture also respect ur parents culture it is nut ur falt thats it...
 
No, it is NOT normal to hate ANY culture, but it seems to be very "human" to do so. At least, by some people's definition of that word. Personally, I don't see what prejudices are all about in the first place. That is the real root to the problem of hating anyone or any culture. Aren't we all people? Then, why can't we treat others accordingly? Sorry about raising my voice, but I feel very strongly about this topic.
