I'm very, very picky about who I date or even who I casually make out wit. I'm also still a virgin and am absolutely terrified with the thought of giving away my virginity. I'm not self conscious about the way I look, but I am afraid of being disrespected and used because of all the stories from friends about themselves or others about men using them. I feel like there's no way to be sure and that I'm going to be alone (in that sense) for a long, long time.
Is it normal to be extremely cautious about being intimate?
