i think that i might have cold weather induced asthma. but my lung doctor is putting me on a stupid reflux med. i only cough real bad when i am exposed to the cold. my severe coughing fits can last anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. i am on a cough med with codeine in it but at times that doesn't work. when i cough real bad i end up gaging so bad that i throw up. my doctor put me on reflux med because i told him that i throw up with my coughing. but i only throw up because i gag because of coughing real bad. it gets to the point where i can't even go outside without coughing real bad. when i sing alot i get stuffy, phlegmy, cough some, loose my voice some, and have to quite. have a WII and i get winded sometimes when i play it
i got mario super slugger and i get winded because i hit 26 home runs in one game. all i have to do is run a short distance in the cold and i cough so bad that i throw up. i also got yesterday tired because i carried a 2 year old up and down the staries. i know that i have asthma but no one is listening to me. i said that i might end up coughing up a lung or ending up in the hospital with a bad asthma attack before anyone takes me seriously. i am tired and worn-out all the time.
my question is is it bad to cough so bad that you gag and throw up? and also why is my doctor putting me on reflux med when i clearly have asthma?
