I was given a 2001 Toyota Camry, V4 and 4-speed automatic.
When I'm on the freeway I usually drive in the fast lane (70+ where I'm going and I'm not overtly speeding at that speed and that's in miles) On flat and downhill terrain I usually keep a good speed and distance from cars behind and in front of me.
The problem is going uphill. On the freeway when going up hill my 70+ speeds quickly drop to about 55. Which is bad when I'm in the fast lane. Which usually results in everybody who was behind me to quickly pass me 70+ while I'm stuck at 55 and below. Which isn't really bad until the the freeway flattens again and I begin to pass everyone who has just passed me... (They get mad for some reason...)
So to avoid this problem, how can I keep my consistent (at least) 65+ speeds when going up a hill (while everyone else is going at that same speed), or is my Camry just too weak for the job.
