when u have an eq only? u can bass boost after u eq so u can have ur boost when u pick the frequency to boost. but when u put an equalizer on are u also getting louder. similar to boosting. ur eq can have ur dip so u can have a peak. like say for example, 37 hz is ur peak. u still also have a peak when u use bass boost at 37 hz.
but kind of the boost is much more noticable when using bass boost. and the when using an equalizer only u can still have a boost in sound. so whats the difference? with an eq u ca still have ur peak. with bass boost, ur other frequencies u didnt bass boost are much lower in sound than what u boosted.
