::Is it legal to put a baby seat in a two door car?

I have a two door car and was thinking bout getting rid of it and getting a 4 door suv instead bc i thought it wasn;t legal but a friend told me it is???

Doors don't matter - it 's the seats. car seats are supposed to go in the back seat. If you don't have a back seat, it's legal, but not a good idea.

It is alot of trouble most of the time but mos def you can. you should really consider ggetting another car if you were looking into it.

Yes it's legal! If you can fit the car seat in safely in the back seat then there is no reason to need an SUV. I have a VW Beetle and I have 2 kids, one in a booster and one that has been in a rear-facing infant seat, and a rear-and front-facing secondary seat. It is legal and safe, as long as they are buckled in correctly.

YES!!! You can put a carseat anywhere that it can be buckeled in safley!!! It doesnt matter how many doors are on it.

you can have 2 door car and still have a car seat. Their are lots of women out their with 2 door cars. But 4 door would make your life alot easier.

It's fine. you just can't put a carseat in the front seat...that's illegal.

You can put a car-seat in a 2 door car. You would still put the car seat in the back seat . . . and it would be a bit of a pain, but you can do it.

I have a 2 door sunfire, and I have had my son's car seat in the car since he was born. It is not illegal, but it is inconvenient. I wish I had 4 doors.
