such as a 1970 fiat 500? i want to put a kawasaki engine with reverse into a fiat 500 or fiat 126. i want to use the older model, like a 1970.so my question is, is it legal in california, if not, what are the reasons? thanks
 
Yes it is legal. There is no smog on a 1970. Any questions,you can call your local DMV they will tell you the same thing.
