Is it legal for my previous employer to discuss with other employees why I was fired?

My previous manager has pulled a couple of the current employees aside and told them the accusation for which i was fired. Is this legal?
If I have to fight them in unemployment court should I ask those employees to go with me as witnesses to her telling them my personal buisness?

If the mgr's comments are untrue and they result in loss of oppty/income, you may have an action against employer in defamation. Aside from that, the relationship betwen employer and 'ees is not one of any special privilege. As long as comments were true, reasonable and work-related, you have no claim.
